Italy was a pussy

Italy did pretty well under Napoleon. They were deprived of good equipment but in some cases they performed well but they were mismanaged. But yeah, Italy was a strange case.

Allies recaptured France in the west so western front and Russia fighting in the east so eastern front

They didn't recapture anything in France before 1944.
