THE BRAIN
So you mastered the physical and external requirements... why not also the brain? God has given you. this 3 ib thing, called a Brain; which is not merely for fine and gross motor abilities but analytical and memorial abilities as well.
You don't have to earn a degree, but at the same time, understand that part of meeting your full potential includes learning. So what's going on in the world you live in? Why do we have a Constitution? Laws? Etc?
If you're going to be a father, telling your child to go to school just to get a good job is almost hypocritical if you're not doing it yourself. That, or becoming what s/he wants to be, when you're one who had not done the same thing.
And just telling him/her that, cancels out, the other important reason for them to succeed in school. If they go to school with a single minded purpose to get a good job, or to be rich, guess what... they might just cheat their way to it. Why? Because you're telling them to reach that goal - period - rather than care about what they're learning.
Learning about various subject in school, makes one a well-rounded person. It makes him/her more prudent, wiser, more careful, and discerning. But you can even begin to tell them that unless you yourself care about your own learning.
If you're a American, you live in the most prosperous country in the world, and yet your country is falling behind the rest of the world. America leads the free world, and many of you exclaim that "AMERICA IS THE BEST!" Well, shouldn't it also lead in academics as well, not just in freedom and strength?
