I almost cut the tip of one of my fingers off a couple of months ago... that needle was used to administer the anesthetic so they could stitch it up.

EEK! I nearly took my thumb off with a pair of pruning shears a couple of years ago. Those kinds of wounds suck so bad. The persistent numbness, the stiff scar tissue. I have learned to wear safety gear.
