I wonder how many stabbings people suffered before they decided to get armed.

I think we should have higher trained better school security, but that seems like it is more likely to end up hurting than helping.

Oh heck yeah, we can have better security (as long as it doesn't go into authoritarian territory). Still, having armed teachers (and admins) can go the extra mile in prevention.

I agree that both are important..... The problem that armed security presents, is that a skilled shooter would take them first and then go for the children. if they know that some of the teachers MIGHT be armed, they may back off. Most shooters are cowards.
