@laonsite... Very true-- tariffs become a tax for the consumer. That is also the point-- it raises the price of those products so much that consumers WON'T BUY THEM, ultimately hurting the manufacturing source. Of course--- there will be reprisal tariffs, or simply a refusal to purchase USA products, most likely grain exports. Farmers take the hit. Nobody wins.
