Now, have a think. If there's a Muslim who has found inspiration in their faith to build a peaceful and prosperous life of kindness, and you come along and say "you're doing it wrong! It's supposed to make you have a death wish!" then they have three options:
1. They'll defend their interpretation of their faith and argue with you in detail. You bog each other down into bickering. Neither of you change their minds and the whole thing is an unproductive waste of everybody's time.
2. They'll never speak to you again and you've shut down interfaith dialogue.
3. They'll go "....huh. Never thought about it that way before. I guess you're right!" and you've turned a good person into a violent radical.
So why, on Earth, would you ever make it your business to say that a peaceful reading of Islam is incorrect?
