You sure? Many people I've talked to that claimed to be socialist actually followed follow a capitalist ideology that includes big taxes and a large welfare state.
You know, you could just give examples of the type of socialism you follow.
Socialism is government or public ownership of the means of production with worker self management. Democratic Socialism is a form of socialism managed though democratic means.
Communism is supposed to be public ownership of all property with no class system and basically no need of money.
