Lol I submitted a post in this stream, suggesting reposting was like shovelling crap into the stream. But I’ve seen older memes reappear since then which kinda changed my mind. And now I constantly see memes from people, who have used a joke and put it to a template, and there’s comments from someome else, going out of their way to post a screenshot of a joke from some other random site in just text form, or a completely different template altogether that they posted themselves or have seen.
Attacking them and demanding they delete the stuff they’ve spent time putting together.
Luckily it mainly seems to be youngsters or new users that don’t know better who are putting this into practice. But I see comments whining about reposts or agreeing people are scum for posting them, from other higher up users, who’ve reposted exact copies of stuff I’ve seen on here already, multiple times.
(Knowingly or otherwise) and I’ve been here for 4 months.
