Climate was changing long before a certain personage played Fullback for the Under 12 Jerusalem Aussie Rules team. It will do so long after humans die off the planet. No one wants pollution, altho it is nowadays a Left and Right thing (Idealists vs Realists). What really is at play here is Self Gratification by Proxy, that is where people find a cause, anyone with some following will do and extrude platitudes strongly.
