This grammar mistake is all mine, I don't think he would make a mistake like that. His problem is lacking a moral compass. That's why he fits in so well at NBC. :^o

Sorry to be a grammar cop! I would hate to be subject to grammar cops, so I should go easy! My comment was mostly a dig at Williams. How this guy even has a job is beyond me.
