There is a rather elaborate theory that Hitler escaped on a submarine and moved to some farm in Argentina, leaving behind a fake corpse for the Soviets to declare as his.

It's been ruled out by most historians but you know how people do.

and they recently confirmed dental records that the body was his.. But some did escape to SA , so the rumor did have valid points.

Considering how sick he was, Hitler would probably never agree to spend weeks in a submarine conditions. The latest theories would be that he fled to Norway, then took a hydroplane that refueled in the Atlantic via refuelling submarines and reach South America after a dozen hour of flight instead of weeks.

Yeah, sounds crazy, but then he was crazy.

plus he would be 130 yrs old..

Well, no one is claiming is he still alive, but the investigation did show some serious possibilities how he could have escaped. The soviets destroyed the assumed corpse of Hitler, so we never had DNA tests done to make sure it was actually him.

Like most historians, i presume he actually died there, but i keep an open mind about other possibilities until they can be fully denied.

As for the dental records, it consolidate the proof that he died, but considering how paranoid Hitler was, i woudnt put it beneath him to "butcher" a body double to have the same teeths as he did.

By asking a dentist? Im sure there would have been quite a few willing to do it for him in Germany.
