So a common theory is that the apostles came in the middle of the night and stole Jesus' body in the hopes of convincing everyone that He had miraculously risen from the dead.

The apostles ran and hid in terror because their leader had just been brutally beaten and crucified. Those responsible for His death even had guards put at the tomb and the entrance sealed to prevent anyone coming near the body.

What do you think happened to His body? Or maybe you don't believe he really died? Just curious.

There is no way to know if Jesus was a historical person at all, let alone if he rose from the dead. No philosopher, writer, politician, rabbi or any other person from the 1st centrury ever wrote about him, and no document of any physical evidence of Pontius Pilate sentencing Jesus to death was ever discovered.

It is very little to go on. Keep in mind the pinnacle of technology at this time was iron. Not even steel, iron. So, to go from that to this "kind of talk" is extraordinary on its own.

unfortunately it is not really possible to prove the occurrence of miracles. Just because they are events that defy science they cannot be scientifically analysed. So if you're looking for scientific evidence, I'm sorry I don't have any.But that doesn't mean it's not true. In fact even scientific facts that you and I believe to be true are based on the testimony of those who have the authority to speak them such as the Earth rotates around the sun at 67,000 miles per hour. If you read it from someone with authority you believe it even if it was written by someone long ago.

I guess the only evidence is the empty tomb, and the fact that eyewitnesses saw Jesus after his death, (his death interestingly enough, is never questioned by historians, atheist or believer)

That's why there's this little thing called Faith. But without a faith in God then why have faith in anything He does. So you believe everything "just happens"?

You can't prove or disprove the supernatural or beings beyond the physical with physical instruments.
