I don't think producers can ever capture what was in the mind of the author but some have made really good attempts.

True, I used to read “diary of a wimpy kid” books, then I saw a movie on one of the books, and they were NOTHING like the book!

I think sometimes it's cool to see the book come alive in a movie, like Lord of the Rings, Jurassic Park etc. but I also like to leave the story up to the imagination of the reader.

True, it is nice to see a physical version of a story, but I feel like when people watch the movie before reading it, they get so confused when they start reading the book.

So this meme is supposed to be about films based off books. Some people prefer to read the book after seeing the movie since it's usually much better than the movie.
