oh damn I guess I was pretty wrong about that. gun control still doesn't work though

while the media likes to appeal to our lizard brains,and get everyone fired up,the actual situation is far more complicated.which is actually the norm,not the exception.

I know many god-fearing conservatives that are totally on board with sensible gun regulation.key word:sensible.

but the gun control argument is rarely,if ever,portrayed as a rationale argument.
just a political boomstick meant to fire up the base and ignore the multiple mitigating factors why some people become radicalized,and go on a murder spree.

to honestly and rationally examine a horrific situation calmly and openly?
can't be doing that can we?

Fun fact, your kids could own belt fed machine guns before the first act of gun control, and there were literally no mass shootings during that time.

Why you ask? Because why would you want to shoot up a school when you know they're gonna be shooting back?

Honestly, background checks aren't that bad, but banning pretty much every form of gun and putting tax stamps and all that(the ATF), is not cool.

A pistol with a stock or a vertical foregrip is considered a rifle. A rifle with a plastic stock is considered a pistol. I don't really care much about nomenclature, but here's a real definition: A pistol is a gun that fires pistol cartridges and can be used for concealed carry. A rifle is a gun that fires rifle cartridges and can't be concealed because they are just too big.

Anyway, the liberals are being crackpots about this. They are just trying to scare us with terms like fully semi-automatic, assault magazine clips, ghost gun, you name it. The first two are not even real things and the last is not actually that powerful.
