If you're honestly curious? I don't actually care anymore; I think just making a decision one way or another would do more to improve the state of things than the ideology of either camp.

If I were in charge? I'd go with "you know what? The whole referendum was clearly a bunch of rubbish. Just forget it. If you don't like it, hash out a proposal yourselves and we'll vote on THAT instead of this unworkably vague open ended malarkey."

But in all seriousness, if May just said "you know what? We figured it out, and it's as close as you'll ever get" I'd be like "well thank God that's over."

I'm not, at all.

My boss once announced "I resign over Brexit!" during a department meeting. He's not involved in the negotiations in the slightest, but we're government workers and I think he was embarrassed by association.
