Uh... Both the Soviets and the Maoists started off desperately trying to arm as many people as possible to win a desperate civil war against them.

In fact, in many ways, the fact that in both cases they won despite the fact that everyone had guns EXCEPT the Communists blows an enormous hole into the point you're trying to make.

Do you really think there is anything to worry about considering a man like Trump won the last election? Why isn't anyone afraid of a world wide Oligarchy? That's more in line with what we should be fearing.

The pendulum swings to the left and then to the right. Trump is likely to fail his constituency, thanks in part to the backstabbing NeoCon Senate, which doubles the chances of a Leftard sweep in 2020. Since they are no longer even trying to conceal the fact that the differences between Democrats, Socialists, and Commies are little to none...yes, yes I definitely do think there is much to worry about...."considering a man like Trump won the last election" and especially because OsamaObama won before that. To stop the Oligarchy you must stop the Globalists, to stop them you must stop the billionaires club (Soros, Rothschilds, Koch Bros, etc.), and to stop them you must break the Democrat/Republican deathgrip on the voting process....since both parties are bought and paid for. Good luck with them lofty goals. I'm focused on shooting the tree tops, instead of aiming at the moon. My goal is to stop the Dems from turning this country forever 'blue' (and the government commie red).
