that's pretty close,but my criteria is a bit more specific.
i have never called you a muppet,or Sydney and i made a few bad calls with others here,and quickly apologized for the mislabel.*pasc,persp,deadprime.

i use the term quite literally.

a muppet only has agency when a hand is up it's ass to give it any semblance of autonomy.a muppet does not have an idea,or thought that they,themselves,created or thought.
their entire ideology has been given to them and they are blind to that disturbing fact.

they are not free thinkers.
they leave the heavy lifting to the propagandists and smear merchants,and then they repeat it almost verbatim in order to sound "informed and smart".

when in reality they are simply regurgitating what has been fed to them,lacking any skill to criticize or even question.
they are the "true believers",but have no idea what they really believe in at all.

muppets tend to come from the more extreme ends of the political scale.

Opinions are important, but one can't expect people not to call you out to back up your opinion based on truth and evidence. So I take it your opinion has no factual basis?
