Kind of a moot point, to be honest. We can barely get 21 year olds to use their right to vote; how many elections are the 17 year olds going to sway?

I think young people today have been as politically engaged as the punks of the 70's and hippies of the 60's!

Where they all go on polling nights, though, is a depressing mystery, especially on the more routine local elections.
