they are not trying to have government take over every means of production.they are seeking to expand a few social programs.
think FDR.
now we can disagree with those policies.
some may be of the mind that every service should be privatized,and others may think that the government has a different role,and should utilize resources to provide certain,basic services.

and that is where the real debate lies.

Well considering the Green New Deal bans airplanes, meat eating, cars and who knows what else? Sounds pretty dictatorial to me. Stalin and many other communist leaders started out doing things similar to this. Since AOC has flat out said regarding the subject “I’m the boss” it seems she is determined to have it her way or the highway. She has also called capitalism irredeemable. Sounds pretty clear cut to me. A Gallup poll recently showed her favorability ratings were in the toilet...and for good reason.

What did I get wrong? I believe that was in the Green New Deal. Flat out in a readable language. I read it. All of the news media, including CNN, have pointed it out. This isn’t just a “Faux” News thing. What am I missing? I know what I have read and seen.

address the biggest offender of climate change producers:big agro,and how to create a system to make it a net-zero equation.(there is where the "cow farts" rhetoric came from).

no mention of getting rid of air travel,but it does address that we need new,and cleaner,fuel for planes.(considering that jet fuel is one component away from rocket fuel,no easy task).

you would be aware of the massive infrastructure plan,again to be implemented gradually,to address our aging and inefficient power grid,leaking pipelines,and the destructive and eco-unfriendly practice of fracking.

I also forgot about the proposal to gut every building in America and rebuild them. How is that possible? We can’t go door to door and round up illegal aliens they say but the government can go door to door and tear down every single building in America.

Look, I keep an open mind to the possibility that climate change is real and I would be fine with some green proposals, but you have to agree that AOC isn’t the brightest bulb in the socket. That isn’t the corporate media it is her in her words. Okay she graduated from Boston University. Donald Trump and George W. Bush graduated from ivy-league universities and liberals call them dumb all of the time. AOC makes authoritarian statements like “I’m the boss” and flat out did call capitalism “irredeemable.” Bernie Sanders did even have his first job as an adult until he was 40 after living on some hippy commune much of his life. He was once heavily involved in a socialist party that called for Soviet-style government control. Sanders is on record praising bread lines and Cuba. Even some Democrats, such as Pelosi has criticized AOC and her Green Deal proposal. I mean let’s be reasonable here. AOC’s has been rated more unfavorably than favorably in Gallup polls. Here unfavorable ratings have gone up since she was nominated last year...which may I add she only won by a 10% turnout. Democrats like Joe Lieberman were trying to prod her primary challenger to run as an independent.
