Yes, anything founded on force would be abolish .. All agencies etc would be funded and based on consent/voluntary participation .

Right. So, you're going to have a huge youth problem on your hands of uneducated and more often than not aggressive teenagers with poor prospects for the future and poor willingness to get themselves through school by choice.

Even in well run societies, youth culture can be found as a driving factor in vandalism and assaults - and I say that as a card-carrying punk rebel. It's going to happen, and as beautiful as a free young person is, there's going to be a lack of control over the damage it has to people who just want to be safe. In your society, this will only be more problematic.

IN ADDITION TO THIS, lack of universal education stratifies your society. A class of people who have no problem pressuring and forcing their kids through education by any means necessary will hog up opportunities denied to the children who experience no such pressure until they're at working age anyway. They lack the work ethic to use adult education efficiently, and even the most eager to turn themselves around after youth will never really catch up. The layers this creates in society will drive resentment, hatred, and possibly even bloodshed.

By the way, none of this is speculation. This is based entirely on historical examples of places that have gone down this route in the past.

From Chile to Brazil to Uganda to China to the Soviet Union to Australia and the Southern United States: no issue has crossed political borders as a constant issue as much as what do we do with our schools? Should we be suspending the rights of children in order to mandate their education, to what purpose, to what benefits, and with what justification?

You are not the first or the last to try this line of thinking. From African warlords to Latin American dictators, we have seen over and over again what happens when the state decides simply not to have mandated schools. If this is news to you, take it as a wake up call that there's a huge aspect of the world you still need to learn about.

But from Paolo Friere to Bell Hooks, educational theorists have asked again and again, how do we make education a tool of freedom rather than another form of oppression? And they have really put a lot of thought into it. And there is a lot to discuss, and there is a lot to question, and there is a lot on which we still disagree, and if there were a clearcut correct answer we would all just do that -but you need to know that your idea has been tried. It's not new. And if you don't confront it, you're not a free thinker - you're a wishful one.

All I'm saying is to have it funded by consent and voluntary participation not forced. If you think that force in necessary then you should address/question that issue on your own.. Which is a point of the meme that you believe force in necessary and to hell with the consent of others .

I want to be clear about this: "stupid" and "intelligent" are outdated terms that imply - incorrectly - that students have some innate property about them that make them inherently less teachable than others.

We do not use that terminology in our profession anymore. We do not think that way.

However, what is true is that a child does not learn work ethos without being trained for it. A child does not learn when instructions help them and when things need to be organized unless they are trained to participate in that.

There is a line. And beyond that line is an abusive state of subjugation and obedience to authority. But children with poor attendance at school are more disruptive, less disciplined, and they are less motivated to catch up with their education: if a child is behind in their education when they are twelve, unless intervention is extraordinarily high, they will probably be much more behind when they're 18.

So understand, you will have this problem in your society. What is your response going to be?

The only answer I will not accept is for you to pretend you won't have this problem because you want to believe that this is not how people are. But just give me any answer that shows you've thought about this, and you're trying to see what ideas can mitigate this effect in the world you want to see.

I don't give that a lot of truth in my book ... These countries that you named are all funded my force . So called Democracies /the mob rule of the last 6,000 years and you want me to believe the so called teachers coming out of that ? Nope ... That is Plato thinking in my book. I'n more Aristotle ..I believing in the evolution of reasoning and consciousness grows with consent and freedom and this decreased by the use of coercion fear and force.
