Look, I acknowledge that they don't actually shoot concentrated beams of light (more likely charged plasma), but if I find an opportunity to quote Dr. Evil, I will without fail.
To be fair her being a lesbian is pretty insignificant to her character, so much so that it wasn't even a property of her character until a comic retconned it in a year after Overwatch released.
