Democratic Socialism is different from socialism. In Democratic Socialism the govt only owns some key things like education and healthcare. In socialism it owns more. It is a thin line however
it's mixed,as is most of the developed countries.
as a democratic republic we can decide how to allocate out resources (in theory),but I don't see this country ever going full Trotsky.
