I wonder how much she burdened the welfare system (none). I wonder how often she got medical help without paying (never). I wonder how often she voted illegally (prly not). In fact, the whole controversy from what I've seen is based on the fact that she was employed while on a tourist visa which is technically a no-no. Wow. Boo friggity hoo. She got paid to have her picture taken for a few months before she was allowed to. You're clearly missing the point.

Border crossers are unable to get those visas, they come in completely unvetted. This includes criminals, terrorists, and people who just want welfare. I sympathize with their situation (the poor folks, that is), but we can't afford to give welfare to anyone who wants it. We haven't even solved our own problems yet, we can't be taking on everyone else's problems.
