yep; so this is the supposed "Gender pay gap"; however, women often choose more low paying jobs than men. For example teaching and nursing rather than science; yep; and they also are more likely to take leave due to maternity or looking after their children; yep; therefore, the pay gap is a myth as, with all the factors in place, it is extremely small, if not non-existent.
