While Democrats were more right wing leaning than they are now, so were Republicans. Democrats have always been the party of slavery, intimidation and racism.

Read that first part of that second sentence again slowly. Then read the meme again.

Being more right wing leaning doesn't mean they were right wing.

The Democrats are basically right wing NOW. Not as balls-to-the-wall all-in hyper right wing as you are, but they're pro-corporate and have done frustratingly little for people who are actually left wing.

So if they used to be even more right wing, and you still put them on the left of the scale, then you're looking to completely redefine what left and right even refer to.

You can't redefine what's left and what's right. These days if someone is remotely right of Stalin, then you're "alt-right."

Socialism, Comunism, and even *gasp* Nazism, are all leftist ideals. Too many fools start believing the liberal agenda that these things are alt-right ideals. Adolf Hitler was a gun-grabbing, baby killing, racist who believed anyone but pure Germans were inferior. That isn't the right's platform.

The republicans fought against slavery. The republicans fought against abortion (baby killing). The republicans fought for women's rights in the early 1900's. And who was there each and every time to counter? The democrats. Hell, even the KKK was a democrat started faction that was a fight back against the Union during the Civil War.

You can't define what's left and right either.

The Alt-Right uses Nazi imagery to get it's point across.

What you fail to realize is that when slavery was still legal, the Republican Party was left-wing. Hell, alot of the ideals they had are the main ideals of the left nowadays. Also, incase you didn't know it, Martin Luther King, the guy who stood up to racism, was a socialist.

Indeed. Joseph Stalin, clearly a liberal. John Wayne Gacy, liberal. The monarchs we were fighting against in 1779, liberals. Romans who crucified Jesus, liberals! All liberals. Genghis Kahn, total liberal. Napoleon Bonaparte, liberal. All liberals. Just stick with whatever we say is ok and you'll always be free.

Nazis do not vote left wing. They have websites. They have pamphlets. They have written several books. They do not vote liberalism. They can't stand it and they are not interested.
