Mate... nothing's ever that bad. There's always something good in life, some silver lining at the horizon. Happiness is over-rated. Satisfaction, calm joy and a level of acceptance is always and many times easily obtainable.

I guess you know there is a God but you don't really KNOW God yet. May not be a failing but simply where you are. We all gotta start somewhere. Keep asking, seeking, and knocking, though. There is much more to look forward to.

That's not really what I meant. I meant the journey of every real Christian. I wasn't dismissing your faith. I was thinking later that it is very much like the philisophical journey of King Solomon as recorded in Ecclesiastes.

To be a real follower of God isn't isn't about stagnant knowledge; its about relationship and discovering more about the other party and yourself each day. I was actually recognizing a similar place to where I've been. When I thought about it further, its not really about atheism or faith, even, but about the course of a real seeker, no matter where they are.

You can find a sort of happiness and self worth by helping others. That's what I believe God put us all here to do. It can be something as easy as making sure an older person can get across the street safely. No one but you has to know you're doing it, but it does make you feel better.

Kinda hard to do when I'm not allowed out of the house.

Well you can learn from what you're experiencing now to help others who have experienced the same thing. What do you think about that? Try to make something good out of it.

Eventually I will ditch my parents and live with my friend. Until then I have to live here. I'm thinking about being a detective.

So you like investigating things and mystery? As I said I'm sure you'll do great things. But do remember whether you live with them or not your family will always be your family.

Yeah. That's the bad part. My brother is already like "Why do you wanna be a detective you aren't Sherlock why not be like pizza delivery girl or something" They already think I would fail my job.

Siblings are not always the best judge of what you can do. You know it takes studying and a test right? I believe if you apply yourself you can be anything you want to be. Don't let your brother discourage you.

You can't just "apply yourself and be anything you want to be". That's not true. It's something to give children false hope.

I know I can be a detective because I do detective works at home like if my broyhers lie about something I will find proof and tell on them
