Sorry,but the Trump administration grabbed children from parents who DID seek political asylum legitimately, presenting themselves to officials with proper documentation only to find that their children were taken-even nursing babies snatched from mothers arms!(which can be fatal,as the infants were already stressed by travel,& needed Moms antibodies) The children were taken away.Over 400 were LOST within the system. Documents were lost as well.
When publicity over this barbaric policy embarrassed the Trump administration, they did what they always do-blame Obama.
The policy of separating parents & children was not an Obama era one.
That was on Trumps watch.
Don't they ever get tired of lying al the time? I mean,they lie in this administration so shamefully & frequently that they cant even keep track of all the lies! That's the thing about lies;you have to REMEMBER them all. If you stick to the truth,you don't have to worry about someone having to recall what you told folks!
And Trump shouldn't whine about immigrants stealing our jobs-at his US resorts,most of his employees are immigrants on Work VISA! Only a few higher executives are native born us citizens. And the workforce for Trumps products? Only four items are US made. The rest are made in China mostly. Trump made sure HIS family businesses were exempt from Chinese tariffs-talk about conflicts of interest & hypocrisy!

Oh,I just realized that the stats say that 1,500 immigrant children are STILL unaccounted for,and that 15,000 are still being detained. Trump received a $250,000 donation during his campaign from the private prison firm,GEO . In turn Trump handed GEO over 1.3 BILLION DOLLARS in ICE government contracts!
Then when kids disappear,and their documents do too...i am grimly reminded of Trumps "modeling agency" which closed amid scandal in 2017,as they used 3rd world underage girls,& did not pay them...i think of Trumps buddy Jeff Epstein,& the Russian mob ties that Putin has...weve all heard about the human trafficking &the Russian mob.
Trump has quite a network of contacts for moving people around for "employment opportunities!"
I can't say that Trumps involved with Jeffrey Epsteins business-because I DO try to only mention things i can co-but I CAN say with complete honesty that Trump is a friend of the slavery profiteers we know as the for profit prison industry. He's received their money,and his own family corporations use slave labor(Sprint uses prisoners as "employees " paying them a pittance!). They call it" insourcing" -a nice euphemism for forced convict labor! Lincoln made a huge mistake when he allowed the Emancipation Proclamation to exclude US citizens in jail.
No wonder Republican legislators pass more restrictive laws for drug use,ones that do an endrun around judges & juries.
Got to ensure that the profitable private prisons are kept occupied even in times of falling crime rates! Got to honor those juicy contracts. Law enforcement seeks to entrap for nonviolent offenders they that are easy to control,keeping those in prison for pot or pill offenses as long as they possible . They exclude violent metheads in jail,and crackhead aren't ! Cops dont even want to bust those.No assets worth confiscating. Likely to need costly medical attention-all of which cuts prison profits.

Asylum of course is a completely different issue and one abused to get into the country. We're talking legal IMMIGRATION, not special extenuating circumstances. Asylum should be a rare relief from imminent danger, not a back door. Try again.
