I don't think you'll lose any points by doing that.

The only way I know to "lose" points is if someone removes an upvote on a meme or comment within the last month (and even that's not really taking away points overall since you just go back to what you were before they upvoted it).

Basically, I don't think there's any way to really lose points on imgflip.

Do the ImgFlip Mods even monitor this stream like it says they Do?

no not really but im sure they will chime in after i said that :-)
