Going back at least 27 years states allowing corporal punishment have always had a minimum of 2.26% higher murder rates than those not allowing it. Since it was down to 19 states allowing corporal punishment in schools average murder rates were higher in states still allowing it by at least 22% in 2012 and up to 31% in 2014!
