one would think, yes, but I am pretty sure that most people who work at starbucks are not italians and i know for sure that a lot of white people work at mexican restaurants and sushi places. it is a statement meme: that we are so far along in american culture, aka the melting pot of the world that it is hard to define where the line stands. Besides if we just think of ourselves as humans first, it would not be a problem at all. But that is a totally different thread and a meme soon to be.
