Fair question, allow me to enlighten you. Identity politics is racist by definition and by practice. It is treating someone different based on skin color. It assumes that anyone who is not white is disadvantaged. This stems from the false premise of white privilege, which doesn't even account for Asians, who outperform everyone in education and average income. Identity politics only exists to get votes - quite simple. Now I'm going to lay some facts on you that might offend you. Black people, on average, are not as intelligent. People who aren't intelligent will always try to vote for a free ride. Democrats always try to promise free shit and blame all problems on white people. They've been doubling down on identity politics lately, b/c the population is shifting, white ppl are becoming the new minority. It's all just strategy, they don't give a f**k about helping anyone, they just want votes and power. I didn't vote for Obama, but I'm guessing a lot of white people did because it seemed like the right time for a black president - prly thought it'd be a great way to put this whole racism issue behind us, but it only made it worse. Why do you think that is? It's because Dems saw that they could play the race card successfully and they've been using the media to play it up ever since. People actually believe that America is more racist now than during the Civil Rights Movement hahah
