TRUE STORY: I was taking Russian 1 in summer 1969 when they did the first Apollo Moon Landing, so we went to the student lounge to watch the launch. Keep in mind that this was the height of the Cold War.
There were the usual launch delays, so somebody changed the channel and a Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon came on.
So there we were trying to explain to our 60-something woman teacher (from Russia and with no kids) who Boris and Natasha are.
