"Midrash" is a large group of Jewish "interpretive" stories. Tanchuma, Nitzavim 3 says that when God gave the Torah to the Jews, not only were the people who escaped slavery in Egypt present, but EVERY Jew who will EVER live ALSO was PRESENT--SPIRITUALLY, if not PHYSICALLY.

Tzadik (tsah-DEEK) means "a righteous one"--a Jew who does his or her best to follow God's INSTRUCTION (what the word Torah means) that He gave at Mount Sinai.

SO ... God is in the process of having Jews accept them as their God ...

Having to explain a joke is never a good thing. Upvoted before I read your explanation as the premise was good. :)

I didn't do it for the general public. Even most Jews who regularly attend synagogue wouldn't know what the reference is. But since I had it I submitted it.
