Yes, certainly such things exist. So does schizoid personality disorder, and it pisses me off when every Google psychologist confuses it with dissociative identity disorder. That fact that they are real things doesn't make their indiscriminate usage okay, any more than adding -o to an English word makes it Spanish. Just because someone doesn't like you doesn't mean they have a phobia. These days it seems that everyone is "traumatized," (without understanding the criteria behind the word) by others who have a phobia. So I guess I've been traumatized by people who have a phobia of not being special.
