I know what you're trying to say,but the planet is not dying at all. The mere idea that we,humans,can in any way endanger the life of our Mother Earth is arrogant beyong all reasonable and unreasonable scales. She wields a power that we cannot even begin to comprehend,let alone understand. The most powerful nuke is laughable next to a massive vulcanic eruption,earthquake of the highest degree,or a 200+m high tsunami.
The one we are actually destroying and murdering is our other mother,Mother Nature. We have taken,destroyed and defiled so much,without returning a single thing. We created a monstrocity we call civilization(which in reality,isn't even a C of civilization),and in it,we created nuclear plants,WMDs,industrial farming,fast-food restaurants,etc,and not only accepted them,but deemed them as perfectly normal(except for WMDs). We clear cut forests and jungles(our natural home),and out of them,we make paper on which we write "Save the trees". And for the places where the forest used to be,we build roads and buildings,call these towns and cities,and on which no life other than human could possibly exist without human influence.
You might be thinking:"Humans can't be that stupid. How come nobody notices any of this?" Well,they work a job they hate 8-10h a day from Monday and Friday,poison themselves with beer,sports,politics,and sometimes gambling from Friday to Monday,and are,therefore,too busy to notice their Mother Nature dying. Some followers of Abrahamic religions(Judaism,Christianity,Islam) don't care about Mother Nature,since they only care about going to Heaven after they die. And of course,the great majority of them are debt slaves,so they're too worried about paying the bills,rent and taxes,as well as paying back the money to the banks. And all of these are the reasons why this will never be solved(at least not until the civilization inevitably collapses).
