Note that the application of science is technology. I've never thought of being pro-or anti-nuclear power as either Republican or Democrat. Are you referring to something in particular?
Yeah.. The US hasn't built nuclear power plants for over 40 years because of a peanut farmer who signed a moratorium on them. Just now a few permits have been granted, but considering it's science and technology I thought it was ironic too !
