I'm suprised no one has called a lawsuit against the law saying fed workers cant take days off even if they have pnumnomia. this probably violates the 13th amendment, and i can say anything i want about it because of the 1st amendment.

yes but i don't think they can quit until the shutdown is over. that was the reason the law is there in the first place. people quit jobs during a shutdown causing a crisis.

I don't think it's a law. It's just they are probably incessantly reminded of the benefits of sticking with it.

They would be fools to quit. the avg Gov worker makes the equivalent of 130k a yr with all the benefits etc. They have better jobs than 90% of Americans. I am in the building trades, electrician we go through this sort of thing every couple months sometimes. Luckily we have been rock solid with work for the past 2 yrs almost
