Not scorn, humor, huh? What about HORROR?!

My reasoning is that sometimes a meme can be valid for more than one stream (or sometimes, you purposely put something in a wrong stream, as part of the humor or effect).

It should always be the user's discretion (since they're the only one who knows their intention in posting).

Mods or other users shouldn't have any say about which stream a meme goes in. Only the user knows which stream is best.

I disagree. Politics is politics. An obvious joke is one ting. Such as the Pelosi-Schumer American Gothic, or the whole hamburger thing. But actual politics is just that. You can't post some inflammatory political meme and claim your intentions were meant to be "fun". People know, and some don't care.

Aside from that this new system of separate streams is very highly flawed. There is nothing preventing people from posting in the wrong stream. The little drop down we use to select the stream where we would like to submit the meme is easy to overlook. I think if imgflip is going to go to all the trouble of goofing up the entire website in the name of separating streams they should find a better way to "keep 'em separated."

Luckily, I have never had a reject. But I keep seeing comments by those that do.
