True, the mother still has rights, but so does the child. If the child would directly cause the death of the mother THEN it becomes her choice, but until then she has to consider the child's rights first, ESPECIALLY if she was just being careless when she got pregnant.

Yes, ticks have different DNA, BUT while a baby's DNA is different, its still human. Perfectly identical = part of the person, completely different = not human, a fetus = close enough to be identifiable as human but it's own individual.
