You know what the political stream is called by the top tier imgflipinati?

"The echo chamber"

Imgflip has found a way to keep conservative ideas from contaminating the minds of its users without drawing too much attention to itself. By creating a separate stream they've forced people to take a deliberate action to view political memes (let's be real, conservative memes). Most casual users don't even check latest, why would they make the effort to look at the political stream? There's a saying in Fun about the political stream: "Don't go there."

The majority of people that visit the political stream are conservatives, hence the nickname. The remainder are liberals that like to get triggered, and trolls that keep conservatives interested just enough to think they are fighting the good fight.

We've allowed ourselves to be silenced, but I have a plan.

Political "theme" weeks in the Fun stream at critical times in the future. A week before elections or when the president needs to get his messages to the world when the Fake News is trying to censor him. We have to accept that we need to be organized for our efforts to escape futility.

naw. they would lose some of the most devoted users. but they wont get as many views, because people wont upvote. I like the political stream. I think the default view should be "all" however

Too obvious. People would realize the left is trying to censor people. That would do more harm than good. It would give people a reason to #walkaway.

Heck, banning political memes could have made the news. I can see it now:

"Meme website bans conservative speech"

The internet would not have responded in kind considering the several million Q followers consider themselves meme soldiers and a lot of them use this site to make memes but never submit them. This place would have been DDOS'd into oblivion by actual people.

Banning political speech might even be illegal. Sounds like a violation of constitutional rights.

#walkaway. Haven't heard that one since November.
How did that pan out?

Funny, you don't look censored.
In fact, what are you still here?

Echo chamber.

The imgflipinati is apparently more clever than Zucker and Twitter man. They got the job done with almost no resistance. If I hadn't spoken up at the time almost nobody would have said anything.

Guy snowflakes this much about a meme stream, hate to see what would happen if he actually walked outside the trailer.

"DRStrangeDickface is getting more and more pathetic. It's fun ignoring him as he begs me for attention like a sad dog."

Getting 5 replies from him for 1 comment is an experience to behold.
I periodically reply to 1 just to keep the little flea kicking.

Damn. He's gettin' REAL desperate to pick fights. He's more pathetic than I thought. XD
2 ups, 6y
They're not real fights nor an attempt at one, more a desperate cry for attention and interaction.
If you notice there's something of a passive tone, a pleading almost, a sort of docile 'challenge' which merely seeks to get smacked down.

You even knew when Sasamu self deleted, and you two never even interacted. Sad.

Must suck being ignored by your favorite memers, but such is life in corner shadows.

I know, right?
Kind of like this ongoing thing (of which that is just a snippet of), or the others with your kool kidz klan gang who always say the exact same thing.

tbh, I can't tell you apart, so I consider it a one on one.

Later, gnat, I know it's night there in Russia, though you never seem to sleep. But I'll let you go so you can go back to posting 2 whole comments a day when we ignore you.

Don't feel bad, I usually only get 25 views on my Fun memes. Then again, they're just the same image of the imgflipinati shooting lasers at imgflip.

They should of made Politics and others sections a filter/option like the wsfw memes gifs. Not seperate but removable by your choice. Wasn't it the daily massive amount of Brent kav memes front page that was the final straw. Politics was dominating front page for awhile lol

I agree, the filter method would have been much better.

People are trying to hide from the fact that a political revolution is occurring, not just in the US, but around the world. The internet is the reason it was able to happen. Memes are a weapon. A meme website is of course going to be a hotspot for political discourse.

I understand if people want a break from it all, but hiding in happy Fun land all the time is a sin. (Meme)

My message to the Fun folks is:
Suck it up buttercups. The fact is meme websites have better information than any of the msm networks if you talk to the right people. Choosing ignorance is something you should all be ashamed of. Educate yourselves. Knowledge is power.

Yea Imgflip is funny in a few ways, annoyingly mainstream compared to YouTube but so small compared to them. Some ppl stand out based on topics lol

Lol, I've had the idea before of posting screenshots of foreign newpapers to add a different perspective or the wtf???? to lazy and demoralized to care. Israeli news papers are interesting to say the least lol
