Wookieepedia Yuuzhan Vong language translated that for me :)

I actually haven't read any books about the Yuuzhan Vong yet but I plan buy some. I only know a little about the Vong from a YouTube channel called EckhartsLadder. I have seen some of his videos and the ones about the Vong are the most interesting.
The one where Darth Maul killed a Yuuzhan Vong warrior is a good one. I actually do have that book, Maul Lockdown, but I haven't finished it yet.

I mean how much can one "accidentally" mess up?
From making two ridiculous movies with the last one breaking Star Wars forever. To the rude names fans have been called by LucasFilm employees when criticizing characters.

It would have been a little different if Disney (or whoever) apologized but what do they do, they attack the fans!
I do not understand how things worked when Disney bought LucasFilm. But was there really no one the new owners could have hired with better ideas than what was put into TFA and TLJ?
If they had focused more on making a good plot with good characters rather than focusing on Rey's gender, we might have gotten a decent movie.
They were too busy advertising the new female lead character that they forgot to giver her any character development or anything that makes a character good.

How about the extreme rudeness by those who dislike the movies?

And can we please quit this bullshit that because you don't like a movie, that the filmmakers must hate the franchise?

You raise some good points and that would be an interesting idea, that they were "messing up" Star Wars on purpose. But if they were doing that, what would their motive be?

I don't know. But when I hear that they say things like "The Force is female" and "Girls can't relate to Star Wars" and "Not going to cater to male fans".
It leaves me wondering if they wanted to re-write Star Wars to suit their fancy. I trust you have heard of SJWs ruining things? Well there are many who will argue that the ones in charge of Disney's Star Wars is SJWs. So if that is true and they wanted to re-write Star Wars but the new trilogy fails at being successful. Then they might settle on simply knowing they killed something that was bigoted and racist in their opinion.
It sounds crazy and I hope I am wrong. But I have heard so much in the recent year about things going on in Disney concerning Star Wars that I am convinced they are more concerned about social issues rather than Star Wars.
I mean when fans criticize the character Rose and they get called racists and women hating white guys who are only a small vocal minority. Never mind the fact that the criticism didn't have squat to do with her race and the criticism is quite deserving. But no it's because she is an Asian. Seriously she is whiter than I am, I don't get it. Oh well, everyone wants to be a professional victim of racism.

I also want to add that Lucasfilm did a good thing yesterday. They stepped in and removed a copyright claim against the fan video made by the YouTuber Star Wars Theory. They could have been dirty and stopped Warner's claim while starting one of their own. But they just stopped the claim by Warner. So perhaps this is a sign that Lucasfilm will be defending the fans more in the future.

That sounds troubling (like if they completely wanted to remake Star Wars into something it isn't).

But hopefully Lucasfilm will realize, at least even just from a business point of view, that it doesn't make sense to alienate their customer base.

Yeah, I heard about that, with Star Wars Theory's Darth Vader movie. :-)

"the rude names fans have been called by LucasFilm employees when criticizing characters"
They are legitimately responding to the nasty trolls who have been making Star Wars fandom a horrible place since 1999. You know, the ones who bullied Ahmed Best to the point of almost-suicide, the ones who bullied Jake Lloyd - A 9-YEAR-OLD KID - to the point of ruining his life, the ones who sent death threats to George Lucas over A MOVIE, the ones who bullied him to the point that he washed his hands of the franchise because making SW movies "isn't fun any more" and sold it to Disney, the ones who bullied Tran and Ridley to the point that they had to ditch social media, who relentlessly attacked Rian Johnson OVER A MOVIE and issued death threats against him.
There is no legitimate defense of the Fandom Menace.
(And no, there is no focus on Rey's gender or on being SJW. Talk about made-up garbage. And "intentionally" destroying Star Wars? Do you idiots hear yourselves?)
