I agree with Grind, if something is offensive it is considered "politics".

So this just got unfeatured, obviously got reported. This is the sort of BS that prompted me to delete my account once before.

Man that is some steaming BS that your meme got unfeatured. I made the comment earlier in defense of your meme. But don't delete your account because some people thinks there is something political behind every kitten stuck up in a tree.

I made mine with the intent of being funny but I guess too many jabs at NPCs makes it political.
Because I made the NPC say "Orange Man Bad" is probably the reason it get unfeatured.
But they are really getting picky with yours.

Thanks, mine was just for fun too, I have no intention of going over to the politics stream, I'm just here too have a few laughs. It's like some people can't take a joke. I saw your NPC meme, I reckon that's pretty funny. Maybe I'l just take to stealing memes or posting gifs I find on the internet like other people do :-)

You are right, some people can not take a joke. And often there is nothing more offensive than the truth.

When I first joined imgflip there was all sorts of politically incorrect memes and stuff. Whether people laughed at it or ranted in the comments there was no un-featuring or this section or that section.
If there was a meme someone didn't like they had the option of downvoting it or scrolling past.
But that seems to have changed lately. I was not on for quite some time and I was absent during those changes so I don't know what caused it. But if they are going to have a political section they should make it restricted to politics. Or give it a different name. "This is too offensive I can't handle it" would be more appropriate I think.

Keep making memes how you want. And if you made them just for fun post it in the fun section. Even if they get unfeatured at least you are not giving in to anther example of censorship. And there is too much censorship already in the world. From what I hear Facebook and Twitter is a censor / ban happy site.
I respect you for not wanting to go over to the politics section. And I want to encourage you to not let this new pickiness stop you from making the memes you want.

I stay well away from the politics, as I'm not even in the U.S.
I mean I don't really give two hoots whether or not my meme got unfeatured, it's the double standards that are randomly applied. This depending on the particular mod who decides whether a meme is "appropriate" or where it fits. Anyway, enough ranting from me, back to having fun. Thanks again for the support and encouragement.
