I think you’re right about the top 100 going all millionaires.
When I started getting close to the 100th spot, you only needed 320k or so. I don’t know what it is today, I should have looked, but I’ve been sitting around the 60th spot for what seems like forever. People are passing me left and right, and I’m basically treading water, lol :-)
I’m next in line for a million, but I people breathing down my back, lol! No worries though, I’ll probably get there this month.

Seems like that last several thousand leading up to the million are slow! LOL! When I first joined I seriously had NO idea what this site was. I was just making memes to post elsewhere, and saving them. One day I decided to see what this "imgflip community" actually was. Lo and behold there were actual PEOPLE in here having all kinds of fun! So I decided to get in on the action. That was just a little over a year ago.

Holy shit, you need almost 590k just for the top 100.
I won’t be able to remain up there with the amount of people passing me. It’s alright though.
I also made memes for myself, but submitted them if I liked them. On my earliest memes, I upvoted comments, but didn’t write back, because I thought that “bumped” my post and I didn’t want to be accused of self promotion, lol.
Months later, I realized how much fun went on in the comment section... then I was hooked :-)
