True, but in the composite, people who don't agree with or agree with the concept of abortion polarize themselves in those directions, and like the views or not, get tied into the myriad other views of that pole. As things get more combative the middle ground becomes a bombed out wasteland, a no man's land where reason once prevailed.

That's pretty much it. Because life is at the core of t, there is no middle ground or compromise, it is either/ or.

I guess what I mean, is that if abortion is the choice, a life ends before it even gets a chance. You know about my daughter's situation, her choice for life worked out good. The life of the mother exception is emotionally charged, but statistically insignificant, as is the incest scenario. We already went over the Hitler, Stalin/ Mother Teresa, Jonas Salk conjecture. Me? My Mom was adopted, I'd rather err on the side of giving someone a shot at 80 years. That gives the world a chance for someone like my youngest granddaughter- before she turned one she busted out a 25 word sentence on me (you're not suppose to do that till college) Her first day of Kindergarten she saw a little girl standing by the teacher at their first recess sobbing because she had no friends. My grand daughter went up and took her hand and said, "I'll be your friend.." Damn. I wish I was that good a person by age 5. Life is impermanent, death is forever, even if you got your 80 years.
