Maybe not, but I just consider it to be kind of deceptive the way they make us think that two or three times a year a Publisher's Clearinghouse Sweepstakes van pulls up to somebody's place of residence and knocks on their door with the great news that they have won a SUBSTANTIAL amount of money! It's not nice, IMV. Can you imagine the large number of people who could be helped with the financial assistance this kind of money would pay out? In today's economy, it would really help. But I just feel as though it's a scam!
Maybe it is a scam. I know there was a documentary about people who won massive amounts of money. One lady was said to have won the Publisher's Clearing House cash. She wound up in prison for tax evasion because whoever she hired to do her taxes screwed her over. Anyhoo... I always hear about upcoming prizes, but I have never seen that Prize Patrol out and about. You would think someone somewhere would see them rolling down the highway right? That seems odd to me.
