The first place the Nazis went was to the town halls where gun registration records were kept, then they announced everyone was to turn in their weapons. Pierre, it says here you have a shotgun, a rifle and a pistol, turn them in. Oh I lost the pistol... BLAM! With Pierre's brains splattered on the wall it became very easy to disarm the entire country. The biggest challenge for the French Resistance was to get arms into the hands of their fighters.
