Lol well once a cashier gave me real hell about it so I gave her my two extra items and told her to go put them back then. (I worked in customer service)

Haha, I've actually used the "more than one of the same item" to bend the rules even though I can't stand people who are like "it's ok if I do it cuz I don't do it all the time"... I was appropriately ashamed.

The store would be about dead. You say to that one person in sight that you can take them in the express lane. You know, being nice so they didn't have to stand in line behind that little old lady counting out her pennies. Next thing you know people emerge from nowhere eye rolling and complaining. LOL!

lol. I lived in a rough area once where that wouldn't have been surprising.

I would even be ok if they had 15 items. The point is that the lane is there for those of us who only needed to pick up a few items, so we can pay and get out. Oh well, nothing's going to change anyway lol.
