Do you remember the character of Glum from the Saturday morning cartoon Gulliver's Travels? I loved that little guy who showed us every week that no matter how bad a situation gets, we can always make it comically worse with pessimism ( :

Now I want you, Confession Bear, to go out there and show all the young memers on this site that not only will we not stop the next Christmas from coming, but it's going to be the most awesome Christmas in the approximately 620 year history of Christmases!! We should all go out and stock way the hell up!

Those people get the last laugh if the US dollar goes south.. and remains there until next Christmas.. and if that decrease results in an increase of the price of whatever was purchased... meanwhile they have to store their future gifts somewhere.. and hope that their recipients don't buy said gift for themselves before you give it to them next year.

Imo, buying after Christmas sale items only makes sense if they're for a recipient's birthday which is late December through February at most...

Well if you make it. But then extra Christmas gifts wont be a problem.
