Michael Shermer claims "Markets are moral" without mentioning the fact that a small class of people get all the money while the rest do all the work & often get stuck with suppressed wages & pollution! He also ignores major unsolved mysteries he can't explain; which means he supports scientific methods only when it suits his existing beliefs which is pseudo-skepticism!
