Well, it depends. Is the Fortnite community going to get less cringy? Even then, at least Pokémon has sustainable lore.

Well, yeah. I'll admit. The TCG is kinda suffering. That doesn't mean that Pokémon as a brand is losing steam, though. The games, which the cards originate from, are becoming more popular by the day. Albeit Pokémon GO certainly helped to catalyze that, but even so, it's still going strong. Do you think that Fortnite will be popular in 20 years?

Yeah, true. I just think that it would be more of a cultural and economic hit(, especially in Japan,) if Pokémon died. If you think that Fortnite will survive more than half a decade, then it's still in its infancy. Meanwhile, Pokémon has been building itself up for 20 years. I, for one, have played both games, and it's my opinion that if Fortnite ended today, it would leave less of a scar than if Pokémon was ended today. Also, how does Roblox have anything to do with this? Sure, Roblox players kinda hate on Fortnite more, but that makes little to no difference in this discussion.
